I am passionate about creating clothing and costumes that reflect a vision of sustainability and function over form.
Constructing garments is incredibly fascinating, and I am always striving to learn more about the craft, which has such a rich history and methodology. I have experience in traditional sewing construction, which aids my knowledge of alterations.
My experience and passions are rooted strongly in theatre, and I have worked locally in New Orleans and in other United States cities. At Loyola University New Orleans, where I earned a BA in Theatre Arts, I found my passion for costume design and nurtured a love of sewing.
